The BP100 is VIOFO's higher-capacity 7650mAh LiFePO4 battery pack for dash cam parking mode. It stores power while you drive, then keeps the camera running after the engine is switched off — without continuing to draw from the vehicle battery.
The BP100 keeps parking recording separate from the vehicle battery, combines fast in-car charging with a larger 98Wh reserve, and can be expanded further with the optional EP100.
VIOFO rates the BP100 for approximately 32 hours when powering a single-channel dash cam drawing an average of 3W under test conditions. Real-world runtime changes with the dash cam model, channel count, recording mode, HDR settings, temperature and other operating conditions.

The BP100 can be installed permanently through the fuse box or connected through a vehicle cigarette-lighter socket. The hardwired route provides the fastest recharge.
Hardwiring accepts 11.8–28V input at up to 11A, allowing the BP100 to recharge quickly while the vehicle is running.
The cigarette-lighter cable accepts 11.8–28V input at up to 6A for a simpler installation without wiring into the fuse box.
The published input range covers common 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems, subject to using the correct supplied connection method.
The dedicated dash-cam port supplies 11.8–14.2V at up to 3A. A separate USB-C output supplies 5V at up to 3A, allowing the BP100 to power the camera while also providing power to a phone or another compatible USB device.
The BP100 uses lithium iron phosphate cells and monitors the pack, cells and mainboard for abnormal temperature and electrical conditions.
Built-in Bluetooth allows the BP100 to report battery status to VIOFO's Battery App, so you can check the pack without needing to physically access it. The app can also provide high-temperature alerts.
The optional EP100 expansion battery is designed specifically to add capacity to the BP100 system. VIOFO states that the combined system can be expanded up to 22,950mAh for substantially longer parking recording.
