A229 Pro-W combines the Pro's 4K IMX678 front camera with an IP67 2K waterproof rear camera. The 3CH version adds a 1080P interior camera. UK waterproof rear-cable options are 9.5m and 14.5m, useful for campervans and longer vehicles; select the required UK variant before ordering.
The waterproof rear is designed for exposed mounting where tint, bodywork or vehicle layout make an internal rear camera less useful.
Front uses IMX678 8MP; waterproof rear IMX675 5MP; interior IMX307 2MP. All three support HDR.

The IP67 rear camera mounts outside the vehicle and records through rain without relying on a rear window.
The Pro-W keeps the same high-resolution Pro front camera while moving the rear camera outside the vehicle.
HDR balances bright and dark areas across the road-facing cameras, helping retain detail in difficult light.
The A229 family combines dual-band Wi‑Fi, direct USB 2.0 transfer on supported models, voice control, built-in GPS and optional Bluetooth remote control.
Connect through the VIOFO App for live view, settings, playback and downloads. The 5GHz band is the faster option for larger files; 2.4GHz remains available for compatibility.
Use a USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable with a compatible phone. The same direct connection can also be used for firmware updates. The phone must support USB data and 5V / 2A output.
