Dual Sony STARVIS 2 Sensors
A229 Plus is the industry's first dashcam using two Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensors which offer 2.5 times wider dynamic range and higher light sensitivity than the STARVIS tech, bringing much less noise and motion blur during day & night recording.
2K Rear with Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675
The rear camera records in upgraded 2K resolution with Sony STARVIS 2 1/2.8'' 5MP image sensor, which takes rear recording to the next level. The sensor features an impressive 2.5 times wider dynamic range than the STARVIS pixel of the same size, capturing exceptionally clear and sharp videos during daytime and nighttime recording.
Upgraded Infrared Cabin Recording
The interior camera leverages Sony STARVIS IMX307 sensor and advanced HDR technology, clearly capturing the entire cabin scene without overexposure. With a built-in IR light sensor, the camera automatically activates its 4 infrared LED lights when it detects low light conditions in the car cabin, enabling to record sharp black and white image details even in complete darkness.

A229 Plus is outstanding in a wide range of lighting conditions, by virtue of the dual Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensors. Every captured footage is enhanced with a wider dynamic range to reveal more details in highlights and shadows. Smart Voice Control & Notification
A229 Plus comes with an advanced voice control feature, which allows you to start/stop recording, take photos, and turn on/off WiFi with simple spoken commands in multiple languages (English/Chinese/Russian/Japanese). It can also clearly notifies you of settings changes or memory card errors, keeping you fully focused on the road.
Ultra Fast 5GHz Wi-Fi
An upgraded 5GHz Wi-Fi connection module is built into A229 Plus to provide much faster Wi-Fi data transfer, ensuring smooth video previewing, downloading and sharing.
Super Fast Video Downloads to Phone Directly
The dashcam supports seamless connectivity to your smartphone via a USB2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable, enabling superfast downloads of photos and videos. Specifically, the download speed is up to 20MB/s on iPhone 15. This direct connection also facilitates effortless firmware updates, ensuring access to the latest features and optimal performance.

Loop Recording & Auto Emergency Lock
