The MT1 is a permanently installed two-camera motorcycle system with 1080P recording front and rear, Sony Exmor R sensors, wide 170° lenses, GPS, Wi-Fi and an included wired remote. The camera modules are IP67 rated for exposed riding conditions.

Instead of hanging a conventional dash cam on the bars, the MT1 separates the camera modules, recorder, GPS and remote. That gives you discreet front/rear coverage with the main electronics mounted away from the weather.

Both channels record 1920×1080 at 30fps using Sony Exmor R 2.13MP sensors. WDR helps balance brighter and darker parts of the scene, while the wide lenses capture more of each approach.
The front and rear cameras record together, so an incident can be reviewed from both directions without relying on a single viewpoint. Each uses the same 1080P resolution, 30fps frame rate and 170° field of view.

Sony Exmor R 2.13MP sensors are used on both channels. WDR helps manage mixed lighting, including bright lamps and darker road areas, so the system can retain more usable detail as conditions change.

The front and rear camera modules are IP67 rated. The separate main unit can be mounted under the seat or in another protected location, with the included remote placed where it is easy to reach.
Both external camera modules are sealed to IP67, so they can be mounted where they have a useful view rather than needing the sheltered position a conventional in-car dash cam would require.

The supplied 12V power connection uses an ACC signal so the MT1 can power up automatically when the motorcycle starts and shut down when the ignition is turned off. The internal supercapacitor supports reliable file handling without relying on a lithium battery inside the recorder.

The MT1 combines 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with GPS logging and a wired remote, so routine control sits at the bike while footage and settings can be accessed through the VIOFO App.
Connect through the VIOFO App for live preview, playback, file downloads and settings changes without removing the memory card.
The included GPS module records route, speed and time data alongside the video for additional context during playback.
Mount the remote somewhere easy to reach and use it to protect an important recording without handling the main unit.
The included remote also incorporates the microphone, keeping audio capture and the manual recording control together.
GPS data can be reviewed with the footage to show where the motorcycle was and how fast it was travelling. Wi-Fi makes it possible to get to that footage from a phone without accessing the recorder or microSD card directly.

Loop recording continuously reuses available storage while the G-sensor and remote can protect important clips from normal overwrite.
Choose loop lengths from 1 to 10 minutes. When the card fills, the oldest unprotected files are overwritten first. A detected impact can trigger file protection automatically, while the remote gives you a manual way to save a clip when something happens on the road.

The MT1 does not use an internal rechargeable battery. Its supercapacitor is designed to support the recorder through normal power-down and file-saving behaviour across the temperature range expected in vehicle use.

The camera modules need a clear front and rear view; the recorder needs a protected mounting position; the GPS module needs reception; and the remote needs to be within easy reach.

Use the included metal or plastic mounting hardware to position both cameras with a clear view.

Place the wired control where it can be reached safely for manual event protection.

Mount the main unit under the seat or in another protected area and route the camera, GPS, remote and 12V power connections back to it.

Installation, weather resistance, storage and what the system does while you ride.
Yes. The current MT1 front and rear camera modules are rated IP67. The separate main recorder should still be installed in a protected location such as under the seat or inside a suitable compartment.
Yes. Both channels record simultaneously at 1920×1080P 30fps with synchronised timestamps.
Yes. The supplied 12V power connection uses ACC detection so the system can start when the ignition is switched on and shut down when the bike is switched off.
Yes. Connect to the MT1 over its built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi using the VIOFO App for live view, playback, downloads and settings.
The included wired remote gives you an accessible manual control for protecting an important recording while riding. It also houses the system microphone.
The current MT1 specification does not list a dedicated parking mode or buffered parking mode. It is designed around ignition-controlled recording while the motorcycle is in use.
The MT1 supports microSD cards up to 256GB. A 32GB card is included. For regular continuous recording, use a high-endurance card designed for dash-cam use.
Yes. The included GPS logger records route, speed and time data for playback alongside the video.
