Viofo Microphone accessory.
£24.95
A clip-on 3.5mm omnidirectional lavalier microphone that places the pickup closer to voices in the cabin, giving compatible VIOFO cameras clearer spoken audio than relying on a microphone built into the camera body.
Use only with equipment that provides a compatible microphone input. Connector support varies by device; check the recording device before ordering.
Only models with a compatible 3.5mm external microphone input. VIOFO lists examples including A139 and A229 Duo; many newer models do not provide this socket, so check the camera before ordering.
Position it near the voices you want to capture, such as the sun visor or headliner, while keeping the cable away from driver controls and airbags.
No software setup is required: on a compatible microphone input it is a simple plug-in external mic. The package contains the lavalier microphone, 3.5mm plug and mounting clip.
