Add one EP100
One expansion battery adds roughly the same extra capacity again, giving around twice the parking runtime of a BP100 on its own.

The EP100 is an expansion battery module that connects to the VIOFO BP100 battery pack to significantly extend parking mode recording time. Each EP100 adds substantial capacity — connect up to two EP100 units to a single BP100 to roughly triple your total parking surveillance time. If 32 hours of parking protection isn’t enough, the EP100 makes multi-day coverage possible without touching your vehicle’s battery.

The EP100 expands a VIOFO BP100 battery system when you need parking recording to last longer. Add one expansion battery to roughly double the available runtime, or connect two for around three times the BP100's standalone capacity.

The EP100 is not a separate dash-cam power pack. It is a dedicated expansion module for the BP100, giving the existing system more stored energy without adding another independent charger, controller or output setup.
One expansion battery adds roughly the same extra capacity again, giving around twice the parking runtime of a BP100 on its own.
Connect up to two expansion batteries to one BP100 for roughly three times the standalone runtime and up to 22,950mAh total system capacity.
The BP100 remains the charging, power-management and output hub for the whole system.
Start with BP100 and add extra capacity later if your parking pattern changes or you need longer unattended recording.
The EP100 connects to the BP100 with the included expansion cable. There is no separate dash-cam output or charging installation to configure on the EP100 itself — the BP100 remains the base unit and charges the connected expansion battery while you drive.

A BP100 is required. The EP100 does not provide its own vehicle charging circuit, independent power-management controls or dash-cam output ports.
A BP100 on its own suits many overnight parking scenarios. EP100 becomes useful when the vehicle is likely to remain unattended for longer — for example airport parking, weekend trips, holidays or fleet vehicles that may sit between shifts.
Actual recording time still depends on the dash cam, number of channels, parking mode, resolution, HDR settings and temperature, so the benefit is best thought of as proportionally more runtime rather than a fixed number of extra hours.

Adding EP100 capacity does not create a second independent power system. The BP100 remains the controller, while connected EP100 units become part of the same managed battery system.
Connected EP100 units recharge through the BP100 while the vehicle is supplying power to the base unit.
The BP100's battery-management and temperature-protection system extends across connected expansion batteries.
After setting the number of connected expansion batteries, the VIOFO system can report combined battery status and estimated remaining runtime.
After installation, set the correct number of expansion batteries in the supported VIOFO battery settings so remaining capacity and runtime information can be calculated accurately.
The EP100 adds capacity to a BP100 installation. It does not replace the BP100 and is not designed as a standalone battery pack.

No. The EP100 is an expansion battery for the BP100 system. It does not have the independent charging, power-management or dash-cam output functions needed to operate on its own.
One EP100 adds roughly another BP100's worth of capacity, so you can expect approximately double the BP100's standalone parking runtime. Exact recording time still depends on the dash cam, channel count and parking mode.
You can connect up to two EP100 units to one BP100. A BP100 with two EP100 expansion batteries provides up to 22,950mAh total system capacity and roughly three times the standalone parking runtime.
No. The EP100 connects to the BP100 using the supplied expansion cable and charges through the BP100. The BP100 remains the vehicle-connected base unit.
Yes. Adding expansion batteries increases the total amount of energy the system has to recharge, so a fully depleted BP100 + EP100 system will take longer to charge than the BP100 alone.
After connecting the expansion battery, set the number of connected EP100 units in the supported VIOFO battery settings. This allows the system to calculate combined capacity and remaining runtime more accurately.
The EP100 is designed specifically to extend one BP100 installation. It shares the same charging and power-management system rather than requiring a second independent base unit, separate vehicle connection and separate dash-cam power setup.
