FIT

Compatibility first

Compatible A329 / A329S / A329T systems using RC420.

A329 rear channel

The standard 2K HDR rear camera for the A329 platform.

RC420 uses the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor to add 2560×1440P HDR rear recording to compatible A329-series front units through the coaxial rear-camera port.

2K HDR from the same current-generation sensor family.

The 5MP IMX675 rear sensor records at 30fps and HDR helps retain useful detail across headlights, shadows and rapidly changing light behind the vehicle.

RC420 2K HDR rear camera installed on the rear windscreen

Upgrade a front-only A329 system or replace the original rear module.

The supplied 6m cable runs from the front unit to the rear windscreen. Compatible A329 platform units detect the rear camera automatically when connected.

RC420 is the interior rear-window option. For an exterior waterproof installation on the A329 platform, use RWC400.

Frequently asked questions

Before you order.

Can this camera work on its own?

No. This is a secondary camera module designed to connect to the compatible VIOFO main dash cam.

Can I use it with a different VIOFO model if the plug looks the same?

Do not assume so. Secondary-camera protocols and cabling differ between product families. Match the exact compatibility stated on this page.

Is this camera waterproof?

Only models explicitly described as IP67 waterproof are intended for external mounting. Interior/rear-window and cabin modules should remain inside the vehicle.
