RTC320 pairs Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 imaging and HDR with a telephoto lens, giving compatible A229 Plus/Pro systems a tighter view than a standard wide-angle dash-cam lens.
The IMX675 sensor records at 2K and HDR helps balance bright and dark areas, particularly where number plates, headlights and shadow share the frame.
Rather than duplicating the front camera's wide scene, the telephoto view concentrates pixels on a narrower area to make distant vehicles and number plates larger in-frame.
The compact telephoto module fixes to the windscreen with the supplied adhesive pad and connects to the compatible A229 front unit. On systems where it shares the rear-camera port, the telephoto module replaces that rear-camera connection.

Only models explicitly described as IP67 waterproof are intended for external mounting. Interior/rear-window and cabin modules should remain inside the vehicle.
