Hands-free voice control
Use supported voice commands to lock footage or take a snapshot without reaching for the camera. English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Japanese are supported. Spoken alerts also flag memory-card errors and setting changes.
A Sony STARVIS 2 front sensor records the road at 4K 30fps with HDR. The 2-inch screen gives you on-camera controls, while Wi-Fi 6 connects your phone for settings and recording downloads.

4K 30fps with front HDR.
The front camera uses an 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor and an F1.8 lens with a 140° field of view. It captures the wider road scene in 4K: lane position, vehicles and activity around an incident. The sensor improves low-light sensitivity; HDR balances bright and dark areas, including headlights and strong backlighting. Number-plate readability still depends on distance, movement and lighting.

A 2-inch high-resolution display lets you check the camera view and use the menu directly. Buttons handle power, recording, playback, Wi-Fi and microphone control. The accessible front emergency button protects a clip manually, while the G-sensor can lock an impact recording automatically. Indicator LEDs show power, Wi-Fi, recording and microphone status.

Connect your phone using 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 to preview footage, adjust settings and download recordings through the VIOFO Dashcam App. This is a local connection to the camera, rather than a mobile-data connection for remote fleet monitoring.

Use supported voice commands to lock footage or take a snapshot without reaching for the camera. English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Japanese are supported. Spoken alerts also flag memory-card errors and setting changes.
GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS record location, speed and time information for playback, giving useful context alongside the footage. Download the recording first to view GPS maps in the VIOFO App or VIOFO PC player.
Loop recording reuses older unlocked footage when the card fills. The G-sensor can protect an impact recording automatically, and the front emergency button lets you lock an important clip manually.
Start with time-lapse, low-bitrate or auto-event recording, then switch to Low Power Impact Detection when your chosen time limit or battery-voltage threshold is reached. Voltage-based switching requires the optional HK6-A hardwire kit.

Define locations such as your garage or workplace where the camera should shut down instead of entering parking mode. If you still want impact monitoring in those zones, enable Low Power Impact Recording. Super Night Vision is available within the standard parking treatment to help with low-light parking footage.

The optional HK6-A connects the camera to the vehicle fuse box for parking recording. Low-voltage cut-off helps protect the vehicle battery. Its detachable design supports installation and servicing, and Bluetooth voltage display lets you view the vehicle voltage. A hardwire kit is sold separately.

A compatible VIOFO BP60 or BP100 battery pack can power parking recording from its own stored energy instead of drawing directly on the vehicle battery while parked. Battery level can be viewed in the app and stamped on footage; a battery-capacity cut-off can control the change to low-power protection. Select a 5%, 8%, 10% or 15% reserve so impact detection can remain available after continuous parking recording ends. Runtime depends on camera settings and battery capacity. Battery packs are sold separately.

Supported voice commands let you protect footage or take a snapshot. English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Japanese are supported; spoken alerts flag memory-card errors and settings changes. The optional BTR200 Bluetooth remote provides one-press footage locking and configurable side buttons, with a control range up to 5m.

The front polarising filter reduces reflections and glare from the windscreen and road surfaces. Adjust it for your installation. Use the original charger and power cable for this model. The side Power In/Data connection does not support parking mode; use the appropriate parking-power connection and cable.

Choose a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous dash-cam recording, sold separately. Loop recording reuses older unlocked files in 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10-minute clips. G-sensor sensitivity can be set to off, low, middle or high. The camera uses a supercapacitor rather than a rechargeable recording battery, so it needs an external power supply to record.

4K front only. Shared A149 Pro features are retained, without rear-camera hardware.
The front records at 4K 30fps with HDR.
Use the HK6-A for fuse-box parking power and battery-voltage cut-off. It is sold separately. Normal driving uses the included charger; a compatible BP60 or BP100 battery pack is another parking-power option.
Dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi 6 connects a nearby phone for preview, settings and recording downloads. It does not provide remote internet viewing. Download a recording before viewing its GPS map in the app or PC player.
Yes. Hybrid parking can start in time-lapse, low-bitrate or auto-event recording, then switch after the selected time or voltage threshold. Low Power Impact Detection wakes within two seconds of an impact and records a one-minute clip. Voltage-based cut-off requires the HK6-A.
