The A119 Mini Pro pairs a compact front-facing body with an 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor. It records 4K at 30fps with HDR, then gives you Wi‑Fi 6, direct phone transfer, GPS and voice control to work with the footage.
The 1/1.8-inch 8MP IMX678 sensor records 3840 × 2160 at 30fps. Its F1.8 lens covers 140° without turning the Mini Pro into a multi-camera installation.
Native 4K gives you more pixels when reviewing a distant vehicle or part of a scene. The recording clip from the original UK page shows what this front camera captures; actual legibility still depends on distance, speed and lighting.

Super Night Vision and HDR address different problems: the sensor works with scarce light, while HDR balances bright and dark parts of the same frame.
The STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor is designed to reduce image noise and motion blur in low light. The original UK night footage demonstrates the effect without making a promise that every number plate will be legible.
HDR at 4K 30fps combines exposure information to retain detail across high-contrast scenes, such as a bright exit from a tunnel or headlights against a dark road.
Use the VIOFO App over 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi‑Fi 6 for setup, live view and playback. A compatible USB-C data cable provides another route for large 4K files.
The 5GHz band is the faster wireless option. Manufacturer testing reported up to 30MB/s and a one-minute 4K clip in around 10 seconds in an interference-free environment; actual transfer speed varies with the phone and surroundings.
A USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable can transfer recordings directly to a compatible phone and be used for firmware updates. The phone must support USB 2.0 data and supply 5V / 2A; the direct-connection cable is separate from the included USB-A to USB-C cable.
Voice control handles common actions, while the GPS mount adds route information to your files. The BTR200 remote is an optional way to lock an event clip.
Start recording, take a photo and change supported settings with spoken commands. English, Chinese, Russian and Japanese are supported; spoken notifications also flag settings changes and memory-card errors.
GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS support positioning through the GPS mount. Download a clip before opening its map in the VIOFO App or PC player.
The centre button protects a current video clip; two side buttons can be assigned shortcuts.

Parking recording needs continuous power. A compatible HK4 or HK6 hardwire kit, or suitable battery power, is sold separately. The parking modes are features of the camera; voltage and cut-off controls depend on the power kit.
With the optional HK6, hybrid parking can begin in time-lapse, low-bitrate or event-detection mode and later switch to low-power impact detection when its cut-off time or voltage is reached. The cut-off-voltage feature needs HK6.
Loop recording manages space on the card; the G-sensor protects an event file when an impact is detected. The included CPL-100 helps reduce windscreen reflections.
The camera overwrites the oldest ordinary loop files as the card fills. An impact can automatically lock the current clip so that it is not treated as routine loop footage.
The front CPL filter can reduce reflected dashboard and windscreen glare in suitable light. The original UK demonstration shows the visible difference; rotate it to suit the installation.
Power connects at the Type-C port on the GPS mount. The front-camera CPL-100 is part of the published package; a microSD card, parking hardwire kit and BTR200 remote are optional.
