A229 Plus keeps both road-facing cameras at 2K while adding the A229 platform's 5GHz Wi‑Fi, voice control, GPS and parking modes.
The Plus range focuses on efficient 2K recording while retaining the connected, GPS, voice and parking features of the A229 platform.
Front records 2K60 while rear records 2K30; both support HDR.

Front and rear use the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 5MP sensor, giving native 2K resolution and HDR on both road-facing channels.
The Plus can run the front at 2K 60fps while HDR remains available for difficult high-contrast scenes.
HDR combines exposures to retain more usable information across bright and dark parts of the same scene.
The A229 family combines dual-band Wi‑Fi, direct USB 2.0 transfer on supported models, voice control, built-in GPS and optional Bluetooth remote control.
Connect through the VIOFO App for live view, settings, playback and downloads. The 5GHz band is the faster option for larger files; 2.4GHz remains available for compatibility.
Use a USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable with a compatible phone. The same direct connection can also be used for firmware updates. The phone must support USB data and 5V / 2A output.
